Using cast iron for the door and heavy gauge steel for the body, Gazco’s Stockton gas stoves range combine simple, understated lines with Gazco’s latest living flame technology. Both Small and Medium sizes provide superior flames, with carefully positioned flame ports ensuring a varied and natural display amongst the hand painted logs.
Stockton2 stoves can be upgraded with either a Standard or Programmable Thermostatic remote control if desired, and are available in either conventional or balanced flue versions to suit a variety of installations.
The traditional gas stove is available in three sizes: the Stockton2 Small and Medium gas fires and the popular Stockton 5 gas fire.

Installation and User Instructions (Balanced Flue)
Remote Control
Gazco was the first UK company to introduce remote controls for gas fires. These Remote Controls are optional and can be purchased from the dropdown box above.
Standard Upgradeable remote control: once the pilot light has been ignited manually you can vary the flame height and heat output from the comfort of your armchair.
Programmable Upgradeable remote control – this deluxe version has two additional features. The first allows you to thermostatically control the room temperature whilst the second allows you to programme your stove to switch itself on and off twice a day. Use both and you can even come home to a glowing fire that has heated the room to the temperature you select.
The fire comes with the standard manual mode of operation which has features such as the manual change of fire temperature and heat output and the manual change of flame height (this allows you to change your fire display to suit your specific needs at any given time).
Flue Options
This model of stove allows the option for a choice of flue, conventional and balanced.
Please note that all flues for the Balanced Gas Fires come in a silver/stainless steel construction – if you would prefer the black enamelled version, please call us for a price and availability.
Conventional Flue
Conventional chimneys rely on the natural circulation of the heated air to expel the products of combustion up your chimney and can work with either open or glass-fronted fires.
Balanced Flue
Balanced flues work in conjunction with glass-fronted fires only. The appliance is sealed from the room in which it is installed and a twin-wall pipe vents directly outdoors. Air for combustion is drawn in through the outer pipe whilst the inner pipe removes the combustion gases to the exterior of the property.
